HIKING
Carinthian House is an excellent starting point to explore the hidden spots of Carinthia. You can get a feeling that it is located in the centre as it is surrounded by different themed hiking routes. These are suitable for families or individual hikers. For advanced hikers we recommend the tips of the nearby mountains, for the extreme ones we recommend challenging K24.

FOREST EDUCATIONAL ROUTE PISTER CASTLE; VUZENICA
Der Weg beginnt bei den Ruinen des ehemaligen Schlosses Štok, wo Sie auf der Infotafel über den Verlauf des Weges informiert werden. Am Ziel erwartet Sie eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Vuzenica, auf die Landschaft von Kozjak und ein Teil von Pohorje. Der Weg führt weiter über einen Bach, am Waldrand bis zu den Ruinen des ehemaligen Schlosses Pistrov grad. Der Weg ist gute 2 km lang und wird bei der Kapelle bei Valner abgeschlossen. Am Anfang und Ende des Wegs können Sie die Kirche des Hl. Nikolaus und Slomšeks Zimmer im Pfarrhaus besichtigen. Weitere Infos.

FOREST EDUCATIONAL ROUTE GRAŠIN; MUTA
The route begins at Kovačija Štruc and leads through the forest to an abandoned tree nursery, where you can hike to the ruins of a former castle. You can make a stop in between to enjoy a viewpoint where you can see Muta, Drava valley, Radlje and on the other side of the river you can see St. Vid above Vuzenica, Vuhred and St. Anton. The ruins of the former castle make for the highest point of the route - 547 metres of altitude.More information:

FOREST AND HISTORICAL ROUTE STARI GRAD
The forest and historical route Stari grad leads to the castle remains. You will get to know the forest, but also cross the trim trail, which you can use to your advantage if walking is not enough for you. From the castle remains there is a beautiful view of Radlje, the Drava valley and the eastern slopes of Pohorje. When descending, you cross a tight torrential stream that leads past the cave Huda. This is one of the oldest Karst tourist caves in our country, it was opened to visitors in 1895. The starting point of the route is located at the park of castle Radlje, which succeeded Mahrenberg after its ruin at the end of the 17th century.More Information:

WATER EDUCATIONAL ROUTE DOBRAVA
Settlement Dobrava lies South of Radlje ob Dravi. It is accessible by the road which leads south by the bakery Radlje. There is a special feel of the river here, away from traffic and asphalt roads. You can see a boat space where 100 years ago a bridge connecting to Vuhred stood. There are quite a few interesting spots during this relatively short route which is hidden between forest and corn fields. You can admire small peninsulas that are covered by reed, narrow-leaf cattail and willow. The waterside is covered by plants that are very rare in Slovenia.More information:

ROUTE TO ST. PRIMOŽ ABOVE MUTA
Sveti Primož above Muta is a scattered settlement that rises north of Muta. Church of St. Primož and Felician, located in the ridge between Primož peak and Bricnik, is first mentioned in 1425 and offers a beautiful view of the valley, where you can see Vuzenica and Muta, the Drava river and Pohorje.
