We bake fresh bread daily, we make our own cheese dumplings with home-made cottage cheese, cracklings, pumpkin seed ice cream …All of our dishes are seasonal because we use local ingredients from local, eco-friendly farms. We do not use any artificial additives in our kitchen.
Pohorje's pot, trout fillet in corn wheat, “kiblflajš”, “tovsti grumpi”, grilled boletus with spoon dumplings, potato soup, “žličniki” with roasted boletus sauce, “flike”, salty cheese dumplings with baked apple and cranberries, horse radish sauce, buckwheat “žganci” with cracklings and sour milk, , wild green salad with cracklings, buckwheat dumplings with walnut stuffing and blueberries, paste pockets filled with dried pears, the Pohorje omelette, ice-cream with roasted pumpkin seeds, blueberry schnapps, Carinthian apple “mošt” … those are all dishes and beverages that tailored the daily routine of the Carinthians.
Nowadays we prepare these dishes for you according to carefully chosen and guarded recipes of our ancestors. We named our culinary story “THE WISHING-TABLE”. According to your wishes we can prepare an ethno table with collectible porcelain cutlery.For a good start of the day we recommend Carinthian breakfast.
